Episode 82: Marvel Cosmic
The Showcase boys love to argue with each other, but even they have to admit that the Cosmic Corner of the Marvel Universe is currently the place to be. Episode 57: Nightwing
Getting back to their geek roots, this week Chase and Blake take on the character who has been called the “Axis” of the DC Universe, the most famous sidekick of all time, and the lynchpin of some of DC’s most classic teams. Originally the first Robin, the boy wonder, now the man named Dick Grayson goes by Nightwing. Our guys shell out their favorite Nightwing stories, talk about what the character means to the DC Universe, and Chase makes the most unfortunate slip of the tongue in Showcase history! In the picks this week, the guys take time to pimp Subculture and Young Avengers Presents.
Episode 30: Avengers
Before launching this week’s episode, the guys take a few minutes to pay tribute to the late Mike Wieringo. Then it’s time to tackle the best of Marvel’s premiere heroes, the Mighty Avengers! The guys dish on their all-time favorite Avengers stories, share some of your choices and talk about the current state of the three (or is it five?) Avengers titles. In the picks section, Blake sings the praises of Hack/Slash, while Chase bids a fond farewell to Peter David‘s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
