Episode 169: Free Comic Book Day 2010

It’s time once again for Geek Christmas, Free Comic Book Day! The Showcase boys, including Blake, Mike, and first-time panelist Daniel, sat in at BSI Comics in Metaire, where they talked to novelist Lewis Aleman, the world’s smallest Clone Trooper, and chatted about the beginning of War of the Supermen, the upcoming Iron Man 2, the recently-released Kick-Ass, and discussed just what they hope to see Free Comic Book Day become in the future. Episode 162: On the Go

The guys are busy this weekend, so it’s gonna be a mini-episode recorded as the guys are out and about trying to take a bit of a break. The guys talk for a few minutes about news from the Emerald City Comicon, the announcements about the departing creative team of Power Girl, the incoming writer of Superman and Wonder Woman, and the official word on the next Superman movie. In a novel “what graphic novel do you want to buy?” segment, Kenny wants Chew Vol. 1: Taster’s Choice and Terra, Blake has his eyes on Starman Omnibus Vol. 4, and Mike shows his love for the Kiss Kompendium.
