All good things must come to an end… Chase comes back one last time as regular co-host of the Showcase to join Blake for the decade in review. The guys talk about the movies, television shows, comic books and creators that shaped the past ten years. The guys answer one last round of Ask Chase Anything, and at long last, the question is answered… Why does Chase hate Firestorm? Chase is leaving, but the Showcase is sticking around.

Episode 145: The Blackest Night Halftime Show
The marching band is coming onto the field, the coach is giving the Justice League a much-needed pep talk, and the fans have gone to pee. That’s right, it’s the Blackest Night Halftime Show! With the fourth issue of the eight-part epic on the stands, this week Blake and Kenny sit down to talk about the story so far, the various tie-ins, and make their predictions for the second half of DC’s best event in years. In the picks this week, Kenny goes with Vampire Hunter D: Stuff of Dreams and Blake digs the new Fables spin-off miniseries, Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love.

As we roll into October, the Halloween Spooktacular is again upon us! In the picks this week, Kenny goes with Blackest Night #3, and Blake takes the upcoming prose book Peter and Max: A Fables Novel. (Special thanks to Jacob Bascle for the Spooktacular Album Art we’ll be sporting all month!)

It’s time once again for the summer movie season to kick into gear! This week, the Showcase boys run down all of the big pictures coming out this summer, giving their thoughts on each of them. Which ones do they want to see? Which ones will the pass? Which ones look like a NetFlix rental? And why might Blake wind up topless to satisfy Chase‘s rage? All the answers are inside! In the picks this week, Mike chooses Green Lantern Corps #35, Chase goes with The Walking Dead #60, and Blake picks Fables #83. This week’s graphic novel pick: Tales of the Green Lantern Corps!
Episode 106: The Batman Family
With Bruce Wayne MIA (as opposed to RIP), Gotham City is descending into chaos. Soon, the Sons of the Bat will go head-to-head for the right to claim his mantle. Before that happens, though, Blake and Chase break down the Batman Family — the four sons, the assorted daughters, the fathers, the lovers, and the assorted hangers-on. The guys also discuss the eight Batman-family comics recently announced beginning after Battle For the Cowl ends, and they place their bets on who will be wearing each costume. But what are the stakes of their wager? That, friends, is where you come in. Also, in the picks this week, Blake bids farewell to Fables cover artist James Jean, and Chase is all about G.I. Joe #1.
